Yes, it’s true that Tata Motors is all set to introduce the all-new Tata Punch EV at the upcoming Auto Expo. It is also being said that the all-new Punch EV will be officially introduced by June 2023 with its launch scheduled for the next year’s festive season.
- The all-new Tata Punch EV will be the brand’s 4th electric vehicle for the Indian market.
- It will be based on a modified version of the existing ALFA platform.
- We might get to see the same Ziptron powertrain as seen on of Tata’s existing EV lineup
- It will be positioned below the recently launched Tata Tiago EV
- We can expect the electrified Tata Punch EV to be priced at a premium of ₹1-1.5L above the ICE variant.
- It is also speculated that Tata is also working on introducing a CNG variant of the Punch to rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG.
- Along with the Punch EV, we might also get to see a glimpse of the Indian-spec Altroz at the upcoming Auto Expo.
