The much-awaited Electric Coupe SUV, Tata Curvv.ev has been launched on 7th August. The car is heavily similar to the concept car showcased earlier. This SUV is the first electric coupe SUV made by an Indian car manufacturer. The launch is expected to open some doors for the new segment here.
Tata Curvv EV Powertrain Explained
Curvv EV has been launched in two powertrain variants, namely Curvv.ev 45 and Curvv.ev 55. The Curvv.ev 45 is present with a 45kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 502 km according to ARAI.
The Tata Curvv.ev 55 has been introduced for 19.25 lakhs. This variant has a 55kWh battery with a claimed range of 585 km.

The new electric coupe SUV from Tata does not have any direct competition based on the body style. But being in the market in the most heated price segment in the EV category does create some rivals. MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3 (Dynamic), Mahindra XUV400 and Tata’s own Nexon EV.
