Toyota is all set to launch the brand’s youngest SUV in the domestic market, the Toyota Urban Cruiser on September 22nd 2020.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will come in 6-variants under 3 trim level- Premium, High and Mid, all mated to both a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The Urban Cruiser will pack a Vitara Brezza sourced K-series 1.5-litre petrol engine.
The engine churns 103hp with 138Nm of peak torque mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Taking about comfort and convenience, we will get to see features like auto climate control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control and a Suzuki SmartPlay infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additional features include dynamic 2-slot wedge-cut grille with chrome inserts, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, high-mounted LED stop lamp and split LED taillamps.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will also be offered with 9-Colour options under 2-colour schemes- 6-single tone and 3-dual-tone shades.
The new dynamic compact SUV will have to rival the likes of its rivals and some segment toppers like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the Ford EcoSport.
The Urban Cruiser will also lock its horns with the upcoming Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite scheduled to launch during the upcoming festive season.
