Last year, Toyota had unveiled the Yaris Hatchback in the international market; however, no communication about an India launch was made. The Yaris(sedan) was an excellent option for someone who wanted a smooth, comfortable and reliable car for daily driving.

What does the Toyota Yaris Hatchback offer?
The smaller version of the Yaris gets 3 engine options. These are a 1L petrol engine, 1.5L petrol engine, and a 1.5L hybrid engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, and a CVT. On the outside, the Yaris hatchback looks quite sporty, and it gets an aggressive low-lying design with sharp cuts and creases all around.
Will the Yaris Hatchback come to India?
Toyota has made no formal statement about the launch of the Yaris hatchback in India yet. It is expected to be launched in India soon since it has already been spotted testing a few times.

How will the Yaris Hatchback be priced?
The Yaris hatchback will be a new entry in the premium hatchback segment, and it will sit slightly above the Toyota Glanza. The price should be between Rs.9-11 Lakhs, putting it right up against the Polo GT and the i20 N-line.
These are speculations; the prices may be higher if Toyota brings in this car as a CBU.
