With the 2020 update, the Honda City has also received an updated version of the Honda Connect system. The new Honda Connect with Telematic Control. Moreover, it is also speculated that the 2020 City will be India’s first Alexa-enabled smart car.

Other features on the new Honda Connect include Honda “My Service” which is a vehicle service and maintenance record that helps you keep a track of the health of your car. You also get added functionality of Remote Vehicle Control like locking/unlocking, starting the car, operating the headlights, Geo-fencing, Driving Behaviour, Airbag Deployment, Vehicle Security alerts, Find My Car and Wi-Fi hotspot facility.
Connected car technology is a hot trend in India right now with a brand like the Kia with their UVO Connect, Hyundai’s BlueLink and MG’s i-SMART Technology rolling out their propriety Connected Car Technology in their latest cars.
