Honda is ready to launch its all-new BS6 lineup. The company might start its series of launches with the new 2020 BS6 City later following the Honda WR-V. We assume the new Honda WR-V to have some subtle changes inside as well as the outside. The main change will be under the hood that is it’ll get two new BS6 compliant engines. A petrol engine, as well as Diesel.
Here are a set of thing we know will make it to the new 2020 BS6 Honda WR-V.
In Terms of Design
- In the front, the car cross over from honda gets an all-new front grille which a larger air intake.
- Now the car gets a black housing for the fog lamps which gives the car the right about of detailing.
- The new grille comes with horizontal slats, that looks significantly better than the old mesh-like projections.
- The new head Lamps share the housing with the old lamps. But the similarities end there. Honda has equipped the car with LED bulbs with projector headlamps.
- The DRLs are integrated at the corner of the headlight itself which gives the car a better character.
- 2020 Honda WR-V comes with the same rim size but we expect the car to get new alloy wheel design in the top variants.
- At the rear, the crossover from Honda gets all-new LED treatment inside the taillights.
- On the inside, the car gets a refreshing and revised interior. There will be a better choice of material inside uplifting the overall feel.
- On the top-end variants, the car will still be equipped with features like cruise control, push-button start, a sunroof, and much more. The Honda WR-V will surely have some new features to take on its rivals.
Under the Hood
- Inside the bonnet, Honda comes with new engines The engine is a 1.2-Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 89bhp and about 110Nm of peak torque. The drives the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
- On the Diesel front, the car gets a 1.5-Litre Turbo diesel engine which produces a peak power of about 99hp and 200Nm of torque. This time around its a 6-speed manual transmission to transmit the power to the rear wheels.
Honda is now taking the booking of the new BS6 WR-V with booking amount of about ₹21,000/-
Rivals
The new crossover from Honda the ‘WR-V’ has, even more, to offer than before. Honda is pitching the car against its rivals like Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and Hyundai Venue.
