The Japanese carmaker has finally launched the latest iteration of the 2020 Honda WR-V facelift for the domestic market. Interestingly the new Honda WR-V facelift was scheduled to launch in March because of the nationwide lockdown due to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic was delayed by almost 3 months.
The prices for the all-new 2020 WR-V starts from Rs 8.50 lakh for the SV (Petrol) and goes up to Rs 9.70 lakh for the VX (Petrol) variant. The prices for the diesel variants start from Rs 9.80 lakh for the SV (Diesel) and goes up to Rs 10.99 lakh for the VX (Diesel) variant.

Under its hood, the new Honda WR-V comes powered by a 1.2- litre Petrol unit and a 1.5-Litre Diesel unit capable of producing 90hp @6000 rpm and 110hp @3600 rpm. The maximum torque stands at 110Nm @4800, 200Nm @1750 respectively. The petrol variant will come powered by a 6-speed manual transmission while the diesel variant will be mated to a 7-speed manual transmission.

Talking about what’s new on the 2020 version of the WR-V? It gets new WR-V crossover gets a plethora of new features including 16-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights, LED DRLs, driver’s seat height adjust, power-folding and adjustable ORVMs, A new set of LED headlights, tail-lights and fog lights. It also gets a new grille with horizontal slats. Honda has also carried over the roof rails and LED DRLs from the pre-facelift version as well.
The Inside is where Honda has done the maximum amount of changes which include a new 7.0-inch DigiPad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment interface compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
It also features a new multi-functional steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, driver side height adjustable seat, automatic climate control alongside a touch-enabled control panel which has been borrowed from the Honda City sedan.
Some additional features on the inside include front and rear bottle holders, illuminating glove box, a front console box with 2 cup holder and 2 USB power slots, front armrest with storage, a driver-side cooled cup and mobile phone holder with 2 additional power USB slots integrated in the front armrest.
