2020 Hyundai i20N (Not India-Bound) caught testing in Winter La-la Land

Korean Automobile giant Hyundai has just released new photographic teasers of its upcoming re-instated version of the brands most loved hatchback the 2020 Hyundai i20N which has been caught testing under severe winter conditions somewhere in Sweden.

The new images and videos also reveal new details for the same. However, the front and the back very covered but still, we could make out some of them. So let’s find out what all additional changes with the all-new performance-based 2020 Hyundai i20N will have in store for us.

Hyundai has released 2 videos and several images of the 2020 Hyundai i20N being tested by Hyundai’s very own WRC driver Thierry Neuville who alongside i20 WRC and the RM19 was seen testing the i20N in the Swedish Alps.

Both the videos show Neuville giving feedback on each of the models and revealing some unique and unknown characteristics of each of the car.

Looking at these images, it is quite evident that the 2020 Hyundai i20N look more or less the same as the facelifted version which is due to make its entry in the domestic market soon. Although being a performance-based model has its own perks as it gets some sporty design elements with larger wheels, aerodynamic package and spoiler on the rear cover.

As reported by GoMechanic the new 2020 i20N will also come with a limited-edition 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol unit capable of generating 204hp with 265Nm of peak torque while paired to a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Talking about the design elements the new Hyundai i20 will also support a new cascading grille and front bumpers housing much larger intakes for better cooling. Other notable features include thicker tyres and larger front and rear disc brakes, red brake callipers, Double-barrel exhaust, and an all-new bumper can also be seen on the 2020 Hyundai i20N.
