2020 Hyundai Sonata Safety Features
Interestingly, the Sonata also marks the debut on Hyundai’s new third-gen modular car platform. This particular platform is specially developed with safety in mind with revolutionary features like multi-load path structure; which distributes the impact in the chassis (isolating the cabin) and use of high-tensile, hot-stamped steel for the frame. The wheels on the new Sonata are designed in a way that they move away from the body to avoid spinning the vehicle causing another impact.
Features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist & Lane Follow Assist are also included in the list in the new sedan

2020 Hyundai Sonata Design Features
The new 2020 Sonata has also been refreshed in terms of design. The sedan now carries elements from the Hyundai Le Fil Rouge concept that was showcased back in the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Upfront, you will notice, what Hyundai calls a Digital Pulse Cascading Grille integrated down the bonnet with hidden light elements (somewhat like in the New 2020 Creta). The same design philosophy is seen on the backside which will remind you a lot of the Hyundai Aura with the bold lettering spelling out SONATA.
