Hyundai recently revealed the 2020 Verna facelift in India. Hyundai has decided to include the BlueLink connected car technology in the new Verna making it the first connected car in the segment. The Venue and the Elantra are the others who currently boast this technology. These two were also the first in their respective segments to get the connected car technology.

The BlueLink on the Venue and the Elantra had 34 features under the connected car technology. The new Verna gets 45 features under the same! The new features include the ‘Hello BlueLink’ wake up feature. The connected car technology on the 2020 Hyundai Verna will include features across various categories like safety, security, remote access, vehicle relationship management, location-based services, alert services, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The car will also have new voice control which Hyundai has made compatible with Indian English. The wake-up word will allow the user to get assistance for calls, live score updates or weather reports on the go!

The 2020 Hyundai Verna will also be able to offer safety and alert functions through BlueLink. These include auto crash notification, SOS/emergency assistance, roadside assistance, panic notification, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), stolen vehicle tracking and notification, and even stolen vehicle immobilization! The users can also start/stop the engine remotely using the BlueLink mobile app. This feature is also there on the new Creta facelift. Other remote features include remote climate control, remote door lock/unlock. Horn and light feature will enable you to find your car in a parking lot which you can also do using the find my car feature on the BlueLink app.

Other than BlueLink, the 2020 Hyundai Verna comes with an all-new design with a new cascading grille and reworked headlamps with LED DRLs. The rear also gets revised tail lamps and updated bumper design. Know about the new Verna here.
