Our very own homegrown carmaker; Tata Motors has hit a new milestone. Tata Motors recently announced to have produced 4 million passenger vehicle since its inception. That’s 40,00,000 Tata cars produced.
With this achievement, Tata Motors also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the customers for their support. Additionally, to honour this achievement and the brand’s customer Tata Motors has also launched a ‘We Love You 4 Million’ campaign.

Over the years, Tata has manufactured some legendary cars which hold a special place in all our hearts like and have played a major role in shaping India’s automobile industry i.e Indica, Sierra, Sumo, Safari and the legendary Nano.
Commenting on this achievement, President, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Mr Shailesh Chandra said to PTI “This is a very significant milestone for Tata Motors. Very few players in the industry have reached such a milestone. This has been a long journey since we rolled out Tata Sierra in 1991,”

He further added a few points:
- The brand has been able to achieve this milestone by introducing products that have the best-in-class safety, design and performance have brought to life the vision of Mr Ratan Tata.
- Since its inception, the brand has produced many that have not only catered to evolving customer needs but have also set new benchmarks in their respective segments.
- In a bid to become future-ready the brand has now embarked on a new sustainability journey with EVs and are leading India’s journey towards sustainable transportation.
