Much like the 5-door Jimny, 2023 can also be the year when India can witness the 5-door Force Gurkha arrive. Inclined towards family usage, the upcoming car will be a much more practical iteration of the already popular Gurkha. Other details are unknown yet, but we hope that Force offers an interior change with more advanced features onboard. Price-wise, the 5 Door Gurkha will surely see a price rise, with max pricing being 20 Lakhs.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
Planning to bring in the longer iteration of the current Bolero Neo, the Mahindra Bolero New Plus will pack in extra features and a bigger 2.2-litre engine with more power and torque. The upcoming car will be a 9-seater practical SUV and an upgrade over and above the Neo.

Mahindra XUV 400 EV
With an electric claimed Range of 456 km per charge, details about the XUV 400 can be found here. The XUV 400 EV will be based on the XUV 300 but will offer more space and a longer bodyline. This will also be the fastest electric in its category and might be priced between Rs. 13 to 19 Lakhs.

The compact EV from MG, this smart car will be a 2-door vehicle that will be offered in both a 300 km and 200 km per charge range. The lower ranged version will see a bit of a feature cut-off compared to the higher-range model. Price-wise, the vehicle can be placed in the 10 to 15 Lakh bracket.

Honda WR-V
The new generation WR-V can make a comeback in India in 2023. Well, if reports are to be believed, then Honda is all set to bring in 2 new SUVs in the Indian market as upcoming cars to rival the Creta as well as the Brezza. While we aren’t sure what Honda will call its new SUV, we hope the WR-V badge returns. Price can be between Rs. 9 to 15 lakhs with ample modern features onboard.

It is likely that Renault will bring in the new Duster in India based on the CMF-B platform, which will be tweaked to be a new India-specific platform with a petrol engine onboard. While the name isn’t confirmed, we believe the Duster name will be opted to cash in on the SUV’s legacy. Other details have not been crystalized as of yet, but one thing is sure the new SUV will likely be a localized production.

To take on the Ertiga, Citroen can likely launch a Citroen C3 7 seater version with a petrol engine onboard along with ample features that will be included to give the MPV an edge over the Ertiga. The vehicle is likely to be priced to rival the Ertiga.
