   This hybrid car is a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and is expected to be launched on July 5. It might be powered by a strong 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine mated to an e-CVT. Maruti will sell this exclusively through Nexa dealerships, and bookings have already started for a token amount of ₹25,000.

2. 7-seater Toyota Corolla Cross
   

   

   The Corolla sedan has been on Indian roads for a while and is taken as a sign of comfort and luxury. A 7-seater SUV based on the global Toyota Corolla Cross is under evaluation for India. It will be based on the same TNGA-C platform as the Innova Hycross and have the same strong hybrid petrol engine.

   This sibling duo is expected to get similar updates together; the updates on this sedan would be similar to those on the Swift, as mentioned above. There will be no mechanical changes either, and it will share the same strong 1.2-litre strong hybrid petrol engine.
