This hybrid car is a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and is expected to be launched on July 5. It might be powered by a strong 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine mated to an e-CVT. Maruti will sell this exclusively through Nexa dealerships, and bookings have already started for a token amount of ₹25,000.

The Corolla sedan has been on Indian roads for a while and is taken as a sign of comfort and luxury. A 7-seater SUV based on the global Toyota Corolla Cross is under evaluation for India. It will be based on the same TNGA-C platform as the Innova Hycross and have the same strong hybrid petrol engine.
