Mg Motors India is all set to reveal its third vehicle in the Indian lineup. The first one was the MG Hector which has received a great response in terms of sales. The MG ZS EV came into the picture after that and is doing great in the Indian EV market. The third MG vehicle ready for India is the MG Gloster.

The MG Gloster will be unveiled in the Auto Expo 2020 on February 5. We can expect the SUV to compete against the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. We can expect the price to lie in the range of Rs.40laks to Rs.50 lakhs ex-showroom.
The new MG Gloster is based on the Maxus D90 and will have two seating configurations. The 6 & 7 seater versions will be launched in India. As far as the dimensions are concerned, the SUV will be longer than the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Jeep Grand Cherokee at 5055mm. The wheelbase of this SUV will be at 2,950mm. The width and height of the Gloster will be 1,932mm and 1,875mm respectively.

A turbo-diesel engine will power the MG Gloster. The engine will deliver 218 PS and 480 Nm of torque. As of now, we know that it will be provided with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Talking about the features the upcoming MG Gloster will come with a bold grille, projector headlamps with DRLs. The DRLs will be LED. The taillights of this SUV will also be LED. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, electric tailgate and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, one will come across features like the touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and premium upholstery.
