Mahindra XUV500 BS6 was one of the most awaited BS6 compliant SUVs. The homegrown automaker has finally updated the website with the fresh details about the Mahindra XUV 500 BS6. The new SUV comes with minimal changes and we can expect this one to go on sale really soon.

The updated Mahindra XUV500 BS6 comes with the sixth-generation 2.2-litre eVGT (Electronically Controlled Variable Geometry) Turbocharged mHawk diesel engine. Talking about the transmission, the mHawk comes paired to a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. This one is a really powerful engine and produces 153bhp and 360Nm at the peak figures.

Apart from the engine, there are no considerable changes. The interior and the exterior are more or less the same. The features and equipment are also the same as the BS4 version. We suppose that Mahindra is saving the new things for the new XUV500 facelift that is in the talks and will be revealed soon.
The features on the Mahindra XUV500 BS6 include plush leather interiors. As the automaker marks it as the ‘Plush New SUV’, the interiors justify why they do so. The dashboard has got soft-touch leather. The quilted leather seats enhance the overall interior look as well. The door trims also get the of touch leather with fine stitch lines. This gives the SUV a more premium touch as well.
