Top 10 Selling Cars In India July 2021

Another month is gone and we are here with the sales report once again! Now that July 2021 is over, we have all the stats with us and here, we are going to talk about the top 10 most selling cars in India in the month of July 2021. Without any further ado, let’s get straight into the list!

  1. Maruti Suzuki WagonR (22,836 Units)

    Okay, so this time, WagonR has taken the lead with a sale of 22,836 units. Maruti’s tallboy has always been in the top-selling cars but this time it has taken the lead and stands in the first place! Talking about the YoY change, this hatch has shown 68.97% growth!

  2. Maruti Swift (18,434 Units)

    Moving on, among the top-selling cars for July 2021, we have the Maruti Suzuki Swift! Usually, we have seen Swift leading the sales chart but this time, it is on the second rank with a sale of 18,434 units and YoY growth of 81.21%

  3. Maruti Suzuki Baleno (14,729 Units)

    Another month where Baleno is among the top-selling cars and Glanza is nowhere to be seen! It has been almost a year and we are still trying to find out a valid reason why Baleno’s twin sells that less! For July 2021, Baleno ended up selling 14,729 units with a YoY growth of 27.25%.

  4. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (13,434 Units)

    Not a new sales record this time but having a 7-seater car among the top 5 can be counted as an achievement for sure! The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is in 4th place with a sale of 13,434 units which means that it has recorded 57.97% YoY growth!

    First Hyundai on the list, the Hyundai Creta has just closed the month of July 2021 with a perfect figure of 13,000 units! With new competitors like the Skoda Kushaq coming up, we can say Creta and Seltos are going to have a tough time ahead! Let’s see how things roll in the future but for now, we see that this SUV has recorded 12.56% YoY growth.

    Fuel mileage is the only thing that can make a car sell in today’s world and we guess Alto has been among the top-selling cars for very long now. Although for July 2021, this hatch has dropped to the 6th rank still, we know it will rise again really soon! For July 2021, Alto ended up selling 12,867 units with a YoY drop of 5.67%.

  7. Maruti Brezza (12,676 Units)

    Moving on, we have the Maruti Vitara Brezza with a sales figure of 12,676 Units. This car has been a little low in sales for the last month. If we look at the YoY growth the stats show a 62.37% growth which means this July, Brezza has sold a lot more than what it did in the same month last year!

    Moving towards the end of the list, we have the Maruti Suzuki Dzire with a sale of 10,470 units. The main thing to notice here is that no sub-4-metre sedan other than this one can be seen on the list which means Dzire has definitely achieved something good in July 2021. The YoY change for this one is 15.74%!

  9. Tata Nexon (10,287 Units)

    A new face on the list of top-selling cars in India. Tata Nexon is here for the first time! With a sale of 10,287 units, this car is the one that kickstarted the trend of safe cars in India! Tata Nexon ended up with a YoY growth of 137.74% which is why we are saying that this car has finally started to achieve what it surely deserves!

  10. Maruti Eeco (10,057 Units)
