Mahindra is now preparing to launch the Bolero Neo PLUS in the Indian market. It will be available with 7/9 seater configurations. The homologation certificate was leaked online and tells us about the upcoming SUV, which will have some cosmetic and slightly engine upgrades too. Mahindra rebadged the TUV300 as the Bolero Neo as the audience could relate more to the Bolero legacy, and now there is another SUV joining the same. Let’s see what we know:

The Bolero Neo PLUS will be powered by the same 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that powered the TUV300 PLUS, churning out 120hp @4000rpm & 280Nm torque. It also comes with two drive modes, the Power mode with the above-stated specs & the Eco mode. The eco mode enhances the fuel economy with a slightly different throttle map that limits the power to 95hp @3600rpm only.
Dimensions
While this will not exactly be a new SUV, it can be considered as a rebadged TUV300 with some cosmetic upgrades. According to the certificate that surfaced online, we have the following dimensions(mm):

There will also be an ambulance version of the same, which weighs 2130kgs with a stretcher. As previously stated, it will be available in both 7 & 9 seater configurations. While the latter gets the same seating layout as the TUV300 PLUS. The 7-seater could have a front-facing third row instead of the jump seats.

While we have not seen this newcomer yet, we can expect a revamped look with a tweaked front grille, bumpers, side cladding & revised taillights. Currently, the Bolero Neo is priced from ₹9.3 to 11.8 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Bolero Neo PLUS is expected to be slightly more expensive by ₹1 lakh. What do you think about the Bolero Neo+?
