Introduction
We’ve been waiting for Maruti Suzuki to release its own version of the Toyota Innova Hycross for some time now, and it looks like we’ll finally see it come to life in August 2023. The people mover will be powered by the new 2.0L turbo Petrol engine under development by Maruti Suzuki for its larger products, but there’s no word yet on how much power this puppy will make (or what transmission options might be available).
However, we know this will be an affordable model similar to Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari offering from India—both under Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) price tag.

Maruti Suzuki has been working on its own version of the Toyota Innova Hycross for some time now and we can report that the big people mover will be unveiled by August 2023. It’s not a direct copy of the Innova Hycross, it’s a rebadged version similar to Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari.
The new model will be powered by an 8-speed automatic transmission with torque vectoring technology (TST), improving handling and stability while driving at high speed or on rough surfaces.
The engine produces 174PS and 205Nm while running on petrol or diesel fuel depending upon availability in different regions around India which makes it suitable for both uses as well as traveling long distances without any problem.
Whatsoever because there are no other vehicles available in this segment like these ones from Maruti Suzuki and Toyota respectively who manufacture them too so now if you want something better then wait until 2023 when we’ll have some more options available too!
The model will be on a slightly stretched version of the ladder-frame chassis that underpins the Tata Safari, and MG Hector.
The model will be on a slightly stretched version of the ladder-frame chassis that underpins the Tata Safari, and MG Hector. This means that it will have a longer wheelbase than these models and offer more interior space for passengers.
The car will come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine producing up to 174PS and 205Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an automatic transmission with selectable modes such as automatic or manual mode.
The Maruti Premium SUV will be powered by the new 2.4L turbo diesel engine under development by Maruti Suzuki for its larger products.

The engine will be a four-cylinder unit, which means that it has two cylinders on each side of the car with one cylinder per row in a straight line. This design is similar to that used in most passenger cars and vans around today, but it differs from many other engines by using an unusual configuration where all four pistons are placed directly above each other rather than being spaced out like they would be on any other engine type.
The Maruti Premium SUV will be available with both 5- and 7-seat configurations.
The Maruti Premium SUV will be available with both 5- and 7-seat configurations. The most popular one will be the 7-seat configuration, which will have a third row of seats. The 2nd-row bench seat will be an option on all variants.
Maruti Innova Hycross is expected to debut at Auto Expo 2023 in February 2023 and cost around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will not only compete against rivals such as Tata Safari but also its own sister brand Maruti Suzuki’s new model Grand vitara based on its new platform called Global C.
Maruti wants to keep the price of this Innova rival as low as possible, so expect it to undercut Toyota’s offering by quite a margin.
The Maruti Vibe S will be cheaper than the Toyota Innova Hycross. It’s a logical move for Maruti. The Indian carmaker wants to retain its customers and keep prices low, so it’s making sure that this version of the Innova Hycross will match up well with its Japanese rival in terms of price.
Maruti is trying hard to take on Toyota at its own game: people movers. In other words, if you want a reliable vehicle that can act as your daily run-around town commuter and provide some added functionality (like carrying luggage or kids), then you should go for any car from one of these companies!
We can’t wait to see this Maruti Premium SUV coming to life!
We can’t wait to see this one coming to life! The new model will be unveiled on August 2023, and it’s a rebadged version of the Innova Hycross. It will be Maruti’s flagship product, so we’re sure it’ll have some amazing features that other cars in their lineup don’t have.
We think this car will be the most expensive car in their lineup too—it’s powered by a new 2.0L turbo Petrol engine capable of producing 174PS and 205Nm with an 6-speed transmission system.
