The Tata Safari has been in the market for over a year now, and it’s been loved. It offers excellent comfort, space, driving dynamics, power, and feels premium. Recently, Tata motors added two new variants to the Safari lineup – XMS and XMAS. Both these variants are based on the mid-level XM variant, however, they get a few features from the top-end variants. Here’s what’s new on the latest variants of the Tata Safari!

Why new variants?
Well primarily, because everyone wants a sunroof. Initially, a sunroof was only available on the top-end XZ+ variant. But then Tata witnessed a serious demand for this feature and introduced an XT+ variant that got a sunroof. However, now, Tata is offering this feature on the new XMS variant which is cheaper than the XT+!

Added features on this Tata Safari variant
The new variants get some features from the higher models of the Safari. A fully loaded Safari today gets ventilated seats, wireless charging, an electronic parking brake, a JBL sound system, an electric driver’s seat, and more. Here’s what the XMS and XMAS variants get over the regular XM:
– Panoramic sunroof
– Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
– Reverse camera
– Electronically foldable ORVMs
– Automatic wipers
– Automatic headlamps
– 8-speaker sound system

Pricing
The manual XMS variant of the Tata Safari costs Rs. 17.97 Lakhs and the automatic XMAS variant costs Rs. 19.27 Lakhs. Both the automatic and manual options are Rs. 1.17 Lakhs more expensive than the XM variant.
