Citroen C3 7-seater
Spotted testing a few times, Citroen is planning to launch a seven-seater version of the C3 soon. The 7-seater SUV can be called the C3 Sport Tourer, C3 Aircross or the C3 Plus. The SUV will offer bigger 16-inch wheels, a rugged appearance, and higher ground clearance. Once launched, the vehicle will lock horns with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Kia Carens and the XL6. Expected to offer the same 1.2-litre turbo petrol mated to a six-speed gearbox, chances are that the new 7-seater C3 can also offer a 1.2-litre NA engine. All of this will be offered for a price of 12 to 15 Lakhs.

Force Motors Gurkha 5-door
Carrying the Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre diesel engine mated to five-speed auto and manual gearboxes, the new Force Gurkha 5-door’s launch is imminent. Expected to arrive in 4×4 and 4×2 trims, the 5-door Gurkha can also offer locking differentials and a low-range gearbox. Sharing other components with its 3-door sibling, the 5-door Gurkha is expected to offer multiple seating options, including both bench and captain seats. Expected to arrive in early 2023, the new Gurkha can be priced at around 15 Lakh.

Hyundai Creta Facelift
Talking about SUVs, the Hyundai Creta is also in for a mid-life upgrade that will bring in major cosmetic changes on the outside, with new features for the inside. The SUV is expected to get Hyundai’s new parametric grille and new edge-to-edge LED DRLs. On the inside, changes can include onboarding ADAS features and a new digital cluster. The powertrain is expected to remain the same. With a potential launch around Mid-2023, the face-lifted Creta can be priced between 11 to 19 Lakh.

Kia Seltos Facelift
Much like the Creta, the Seltos are in for a facelift in 2023. Expected to get newly designed headlamps and bonnet, the facelift Seltos will offer new alloy wheels, tail-lamp and bumper design, and faux skid plates. On the inside, the new Seltos is expected to offer ADAS, new infotainment, a new AC control panel, and much more. Mechanically the Seltos will receive no change, much like the Creta. Price-wise, we can expect the Seltos Facelift to be priced between 12 to 18 Lakhs.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The news of the 5-door Maruti Jimny has been doing rounds for quite a lot of time now. While the international model has already started being tested in Europe, the Indian Spec version could make its Debut at the Auto Expo 2023 with a launch around August 2023. Expected to ride on a 300mm longer wheelbase than the current gen Jimny, the 2023 Maruti Jimny will also be lengthier. In terms of juice, the SUV will be powered by a 1.5 litre K15 C Dual Jet Petrol engine returning 103 BHP/137NM with Mild-Hybrid tech onboard mated to either a 6-speed torque converter auto or a classic 5-speed manual. This is expected to get a price range of INR 10-16 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki YTB
Codenamed YTB, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Cross SUV coupe could be the next big thing. Slated to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the Baleno Cross could launch as early as the first quarter of 2023. The new cross will be based on the HEARTECT platform, underpinning the classic Baleno. Likely to be powered by a 1.0-litre Booster Jet petrol engine with both a CVT auto and manual on offer, the SUV-Coupe could also offer the 1.2 litre/1.5-litre Dual Jet engine with Mild Hybrid tech as well. Upon launch, the YTB can be priced between 12 to 15 Lakhs.

MG Hector Facelift
Slated to launch in early 2023, the MG Hector facelift will bring the all-new Argyle-Inspired diamond mesh grill to the Hector along with redesigned headlamps, bumper, alloys etc. The biggest inclusion on the Hector Facelift will be the new 14-inch touch infotainment and other inclusions, such as horizontal AC vents and a redesigned centre console. ADAS is also expected to be offered. Mechanically, however, no change is expected, and the SUV will continue to offer two 1.5-litre petrol engines – one with mild-hybrid technology and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. The new Hector can be priced between 15 to 20 Lakhs upon launch.
