In 2020, India’s automotive market underwent a total turnover. 2020 was the year when the new, cleaner BS6 emission norms were implemented. These norms were stricter, so the manufacturers had to do a little extra than usual. Now, it was evident the prices of the vehicle had to go high especially the diesel. Why? Because Diesel engine were the ones that had the maximum number of changes. Now, for that many car makers ditched diesel engines. But still, there exist, manufacturers, that have a diesel engine in the portfolio.

So, today we count down 10 cars in the Indian market that offer diesel engines. Okay wait, let set up the game a little. With automatic cars gaining popularity, today we’ll be focussing on affordable diesel cars with automatic transmission. Let’s begin!

    • Hi Patnik,
We’ll Hyundai venue and Kia Sonet are similar in many aspects including the price. Which is almost the same. But Sonet is the one with a more powerful diesel engine in its top-end variant (GTX) with an automatic transmission. Talking about the price of XUV300 and Hyundai Venue, it all depends upon the variant and the features you get. But all in all, the Venue costs less when compared to the Mahindra XUV300.
