With German automobile manufacturer Audi deciding to discontinue some of its models all thanks to the new and more stringent BS6 emission norms touching Indian shores.
Additionally, Audi India is also working on revising its current product range in India. The brand has also issued an official statement saying that the brand has sold out all of its BS4 vehicles of the A3, A5 and the Q3 range way before the new BS6 emission norms came into effect from April 1st 2020.

The company is also planning to revise A3, A3 Cabriolet, A5, A5 Cabriolet S5, RS5 and Q3 models which had been discontinued due to fewer sales. The brand will not only update these vehicles to comply with the existing BS6 emission norms but will also come up with next-generation or facelifted versions of them as well.
However, this process will be carried out in a phased manner with launches expected to start after the lockdown. Not only that Audi India has also extended warranty and service package validity for all its existing models due to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, the German carmaker is also offering a virtual tour of the brands Ingolstadt plant.
