Amid Coronavirus spreading like a wildfire worldwide, business and economy are facing massive losses per day with many small-time traders already going out of business. with every sector being hit by the pandemic Indian automobile sector is no exception. Already going through a slump last year, the Indian automobile sector is in even more trouble as sales and plants both have been completely shut down. There is a glimmer of hope however with the Utility Vehicle segment recording positive sales reducing the overall loss of the automobile sector by a little bit. While the rest of the Segments are still facing a slump albeit not as bad as earlier but this will change in the coming months.

Below we will take a look at the different segments and the top-selling cars in those segment in February. The tables are in no order. The cars stated are the top 10 cars sold in February.
Hatchbacks

This comes as no surprise as Swift has been leading the charts for quite a while, not only in its own segment but even overall car sales. It dethroned the earlier leader, its own companies Alto to take the spot.

Kia Seltos yet again reign supreme with the next car on the list almost 4k units behind it. This is Seltos’ second-best sale month.

Yet again another segment dominated by Maruti with both of its cars sales almost overlapping each other.
