It is clear from the tables that the tables have turned. Kia Seltos has taken over the best selling spot from Maruti Brezza. What’s more interesting is that the Seltos sold 15,000 units in January 2020 which is the more than what Brezza was able to.
Mahindra Bolero remained firm in the third position with a slight decrease in the number of sales. Hyundai Creta saw a steep decline in the sales and fell to 4th position from 2nd. The company recently unveiled the new-gen of Creta at the Auto Expo 2020. With the revamped variant, Hyundai might make a comeback soon.
Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova have lost the race to the top 5 spots of best selling SUV in 2020. The SUV segment has been an all-time favourite of Indian customers. And the demand remains high even in the slump ridden industry. This year’s Auto Expo saw major foreign brands showcasing their offerings. Great Wall Motors announced their entry to India at the show with unveiling their SUV brand, Haval at the Expo. Haval will be coming to India in 2021.
