Toyota Hilux
Toyota’s Fortuner based pick-up truck, the Hilux will launch in India next month. Dealerships have already started taking bookings for the same. With the Hilux, Toyota plans on tapping into the much-unexplored pick-up truck market in India. Prices for the Hilux are not yet announced, but we expect them to lie around Rs.30 Lakhs.

Skoda Slavia
Finally, a good sedan! The Skoda Slavia will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the Honda City. It is based on the same MQB-AO-IN platform that houses the VW Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq. This means that that Slavia will also be just as roomy on the inside as the Kushaq. It will also get the same engines, a 3-cylinder 1L Turbo Petrol (113HP and 178nm) and a 4-cylinder 1.5L Turbo Petrol (150HP and 250nm). The prices are expected to be somewhere between Rs.14-16 Lakhs.

KIA Carens
KIA unveiled the Carens not too long ago. It is a 6/7 seater MPV, placed above the Eariga but below the Innova. The Carens is probably the most feature-loaded car on this list of upcoming cars in January 2022. It gets everything you would expect, ventilated seats, 360-degree cameras, a sunroof, and much more. Its prices are expected to be around Rs.16 Lahks.

Citroen C3
Citroen’s second car in India, the C3 is expected next month. The C3 is a micro-SUV, that will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the Tata Punch. The French automaker aims at providing Indians with a solid, pocket-friendly car that suits their requirements. The expected pricing of the C3 is Rs.6-8 Lakhs in India.

The Scorpio is the most exciting entry on this list of cars launching in January 2022. Mahindra is ready to recreate the craze that they created with the XUV700. The 2021 Scorpio will be a drastic change as compared to the previous model. It is expected to be much more refined, feature-loaded and up-market.
