The latest news from the house of Citroen is that they have officially teased the C3 Aircross before the official global debut on April 27th. This will be the third product from the brand in India as far as the ICE vehicles are concerned. The French carmaker is all set to take on the rivals i.e. the Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
It is worth noticing that a C3 Aircross already exists in the European market which makes us wonder if this will be a generation change for it and will be a completely new model in Citroen’s lineup for the rest of the world. What we can make out from the teaser is that it will have a split headlamp setup just like the already existing Citroen C3 tallboy hatch. Apart from this, it is expected to have funky design options and colour elements which will give the potential customers the required out-of-the-box feel.
Moving on, the Citroen C3 Aircross will have a lot more cabin space and will be longer than the existing C3 in the market.

The new upcoming SUV is expected to have the same 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine and generate power of 110PS with 190Nm of peak Torque. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard but considering the segment, this is expected to have an automatic transmission as well.
