4. Hyundai i20
   

   

   The Hyundai i20 was launched in India in 2008 and it had a starting price of 5.14 Lakhs. This was among the initial premium hatches that were launched in the Indian market and therefore was really hyped and became popular gaming the Indian audience.    Although the old Safari was a cult, the latest gen of the Tata Safari is doing decent in the Indian market. We definitely miss that offroading spark though. We hope Tata launches a 4×4 really soon. Talking about the prices, the older version of the Tata Safari started at Rs.8.17Lakhs and now, the 2021 Tata Safari will cost you around 14.70 Lakhs for the base variant.

7. Honda City
   

   

   Remember the dolphin? We remember it too. The Honda City was such a good car in every generation that it has existed. Talking about the prices, there hasn’t been a drastic change in the prices in the initial years but if we look at what it was in 2005 than what it is now, there is definitely a considerable difference. The initial gen started at around 7 Lakhs and now it is there at 10.89 Lakhs.

   The German hot hatch has been an absolute favourite of the Indian audience. Although Volkswagen has not made much change to the overall looks or specs of this car in the Indian market, it continues to sell well. Well, yes, Indians love the Fortuner too. Talking about the prices, it has always carried a price tag similar to a luxury car. It started at Rs. 18.4 Lakhs back in the past and is now worth Rs.30.34 lakhs for the base variant!
