‘Heads will turn, hearts will race’ as the Hero Xtreme 160R is all set to launch in India soon. The company has listed the bike on the website which means that we can expect the launch to be around April 2020. But there are changes in the delay of the launch as Hero Motocorp has shut down manufacturing units globally amidst the COVID19 epidemic. That being said, let’s have a look at what we know about the bike so far.
Hero Xtreme 160R | Powertrain Specifications |
|

The engine packs power and performance. Talking about fuel efficiency, we will have to wait for a while before the company releases the official figures. The company claims that the Xtreme can go from 0 to 60kmph in just 4.7secs which is a very good figure when it comes to a 160cc bike.
Hero Xtreme 160R | Features
The bike is equipped with full Droid LED headlamp and winners, compact sporty exhaust, side stand engine cutoff, broad 37mm front suspension, integrated pillion grab, signature LED taillamp, hazard lights, inverted LCD console, single-channel ABS, 7-step adjustable Rear Mono-shock and whatnot. The bike seems to be a fully loaded one, although the exact quality will be approved once it’s launched.
Price and Rivals
Although the prices have not been revealed yet, you can expect the Hero Xtreme 160R to cost around ₹90,000 or maybe more. If the company is to be believed, the bike will be leaving behind Yamaha FZS, Apache RTR 160 4V and the Suzuki Gixxer. Rest the time will tell.
