At the Auto Expo 2020, Force Motors showcased an upgraded version of the famous Force Gurkha. It was heavily revamped showcasing the company’s approach towards the future. Force Gurkha is all set to launch by June 2020. Have a look at what all we know about the SUV.
- It is bein powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine which can churn out 90hp of power. It might also get a more powerful 2.2-litre engine on the later stage.
- The all-new SUV might have a resemblance to the current Gurkha but it has a lot new to offer.
- The engine will be a BS6-compliant engine. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
- At the exterior, the Force Gurkha gets circular LED DRLS lamps, bolder front grille, and classic rear taillamps.
- The interior seems to be worked on a lot. The Gurkha is going to get a new instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, dual-tone interiors and a few changes here and there.
- The company also showcased a customised version of the Force Gurkha side-by-side at the Auto Expo 2020. It can be expected to be offered as a customization package with the new SUV.
- This Force SUV will rival against the Mahindra Thar which will also be getting an upgrade by the same time.
- It will also have dual airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors which are the first time in the SUV.
It can be expected to launch around ₹10lakh although the actual price will be revealed later this year.
