HMSI or Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India a new two-wheeler subsidiary of the Iconic Hero Group has set a new benchmark by delivering its first maxi-scooter the Honda Forza 300 and has become India’s first company to enter the mid-size premium scooter segment.
Surprisingly the company did not reveal the specs the scooter as the Honda Forza 300 comply with the BS4 emission norms and were made on special orders that were pre-booked only a handful of customers. Although Honda claims that the Forza 300 which are on display at the company’s BigWing showroom has shown a positive response from its new and probably future customers.
Rumour also has it that the company could launch the Honda Forza 300 officially by the second half of 2021.

The all-new Honda Forza 300 gets its power from a 279cc, liquid-cooled engine accompanied by a fuel-injected SOHC motor is a four-valve four-stroke capable of generating 24.8hp at around 7000 rpm with 27.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm.

The engine will come mated to a CVT with an automatic centrifugal clutch and a V-Belt. The Forza 300 also comes with the company’s signature Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) which helps the rear wheel regain their traction by detecting the difference between both the wheels.
speaking on the company’s future plans for the Forza 300 President, CEO and MD, HMSI, Minoru Kato, said, “With the introduction of Forza 300, we are proud to take the wave of scooterization to next level. It will not only establish Honda as the pioneer in the mid-size scooter segment but will also help us cater to a new dimension of customers, who seek luxury and the joy of riding.”
