Special-Edition Hyundai Venue FLUX launched in South Korea

The Hyundai Venue sub-compact has already been a game-changer for India with its segment-first connectivity features, unique design and a powerful engine and with the lockdown slowly and steadily easing out and dealerships resuming their business it seems that in the coming months the Hyundai Venue will again emerge as one of the best selling cars in the coming months.

And now Hyundai has launched a special edition of the Venue called the Hyundai Venue FLUX in South Korea. So lets how different is the Korean version from its Indian counterpart.

Under its hood, the Venue Flux gets a 1.6L Smartstream Petrol engine mated to a SmartStream IVT (CVT) automatic gearbox. The naturally-aspirated, 4-cylinder motor is capable of generating 121hp at 6,300rpm with 154Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm

While the Indian variant of the Hyundai Venue gets two petrol and one diesel engine options; The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol unit which makes 83 hp with 114 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol churns an impressive 120 hp with 172 Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The 1.5-litre CRDi diesel mill capable of generating 100 hp with 240 Nm of torque while paired to a 6-speed manual transmission unit.

The new FLUX variant gets a new dual-tone colour option. Other notable on features on the outside includes a new chrome-studded grille’s which has an uncanny resemblance to the Mercedes-Benz’s diamond pattern grille and MG’s starlight matrix grille. The new hot-stamped grille really goes well with the SUVs new funky theme.

Coming to the sides, The new Venue FLUX gets a special circular badge on the C-pillar with the SUVs initials engraved. The same badge is also available as an additional accessory with different colour schemes as well. Not only that it also gets new dual-tone rear skid plates.

Now coming to Inside, It all depends upon the colour scheme, The new and more vibrant Venue features special colour highlights on different elements such as climate control dials, air-con vents, multi-traction control switch (Drive mode switch) along with contrast stitching on the steering wheel, side armrest and seats

Hyundai Venue FLUX Price

The Korean variant of the Venue comes with a price tag of KRW 2,15,00,000 which roughly translates to almost Rs. 13.50 lakhs in Indian rupees.

Not much is known about its Korean rivals. However, the Indian variant locks its horns with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the Ford Ecosport.
