The Jeep Renegade has been one of India’s most anticipated launch in India. This will be Jeep’s 4th product for the Indian market after the Jeep Compass, Wrangler and the Rubicon which since their launch have been doing extremely well. We can expect the all-new Renegade to use Fiat’s frugal 1.6-litre multi jet diesel engine compliant to the BS6 emission norms.
The compact SUV could also use a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine straight from Fiat’s FireFly line-up. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol produces 118 bhp of power and 190 Nm of peak torque, available in both automatic and manual transmission.

As seen in the above spy shot the renegade compact SUV will support elements like the squared wheel arches, 17-inch alloy wheels and a straight beltline similar to that of the Euro-spec model and even on the India-specific Jeep Compass.
