Most Advanced Powertrain
Kia Seltos, which was launched last year, made a statement with its powerful engine and transmission options. The company plans to do the same with the Sonet. It is going to have 3 engine options. 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0 direct-injection turbo-petrol and the 1.5 turbo-diesel. The engines currently power the Hyundai Venue too. The GT Line of Sonet will have the 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine under the hood. It will be paired to a 7-speed DCT. Other engines will have 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, iMT (Clutchless manual transmission) and 4-speed torque converter in the transmission options.
