Kia Telluride SUV is Kia’s flagship model for the global market. Kia plans to bring it in India too but there is no date specified as of now. Kia Telluride SUV – Design
Being a part of the Kia family, the Telluride also gets the signature tiger-nose grille and the LED DRLs which double up as turn indicators. At the rear, there are inverted L-shaped tail lamps. The design is subtle but still seems extremely attractive. Talking about the dimensions, the Telluride is 5000 mm long, 1990 mm wide and 1750 mm tall. Kia Telluride SUV shares its DNA with the Hyundai Palisade which Hyundai es evaluating as its flagship model for the Indian market.
Under the Hood
The Kia Telluride SUV is powered by a 3.8 litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine that generates 295PS at 6000RPM. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed auto gearbox. The front-wheel-drive configuration is the default. However, AWD comes as an option. The SUV offers 6 drive modes- Smart, Eco, Sport, Comfort, Snow and AWD lock.

Kia Telluride SUV – Interiors
Both 7 and 8 seater configurations are available on the Telluride SUV. The former gets captain states in the second row while the latter gets bench-type seats in the second and the third row. Due to the huge dimensions and a long wheelbase, 3 passengers can easily fit into the third row. The infotainment is a 10.25-inch unit which is already available on the Seltos. This time it offers better touch interface and different colour patterns. Needless to say, it has all the modern connectivity features including the Kia UVO link remote connectivity.
Safety
Kia has surely kept the safety of the passenger in mind while manufacturing this car. Even the base variants get safety features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and a drowsy driver warning system. Automatic emergency braking and rear cross-traffic alert add on to the system.
Price
Kia Telluride offers 4 variants in the international market as of now. They are LX, S, EX and SX. The base variant’s cost if calculated in INR comes out to be around Rs. 24 Lakhs and the top variant comes for around Rs. 31 Lakh.
