The luxury division of Japanese automaker Toyota, Lexus, will be launching a coupe under the name LC 500h. It is the hybrid variant of the LC 500. The automaker’s tagline, “More than a car. A Feeling.” surely grabs the attention. The coupe will be launched on January 31.

The luxury coupe is expected to be priced around ₹1.8crores to ₹2crores in India. It will be rivalling against Jaguar F-Pace and BMW Z4 once launched.

The luxury coupe will be powered by a 3.5-litre V6 Atkinson cycle engine which will churn out a good 354HP of power. This powertrain will ensure that the car reaches 100kmph from nothing in just 4.7secs. It will be a rear-wheel-drive coupe. The engine will be paired with an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and magnesium paddle shifters.

According to the company, the LC 500h is a beauty that makes it stand apart. The Takumi craftsmanship is what makes the interiors ultra-premium in the coupe. The Lexus LC 500h comes with LFA-inspired digital performance gauges and a carefully designed driving position. The infotainment system is another feast to the eyes. 10.3-inch Split screen multimedia display provides immediate, simultaneous access to audio or climate controls and various systems, including Navigation.

The luxury comes fully loaded with safety features. Ten airbags which come as a standard make sure that the occupants are safe. A four-point pop-up hood system is designed to help enhance the protection of pedestrian while keeping it aesthetically beautiful. The rigid body structure with crumple zones also comes as a standard. Other features such as ABS and EBD come as standard too.
