Mahindra teased its car line-up a few days back. And now at the Auto Expo 2020, the automaker has revealed eKUV100, Funster Concept EV and eXUV300. Let’s have a look at the future.
Mahindra eKUV100
The budget electric compact SUV has been launched at the show. The main point to notice here is the price tag: ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom) making it the most affordable electric car in India. The electric powertrain under the name mStallion will be powering the electric SUV. The specs are:
- A power output of 40kW.
- Peak torque of 120Nm.
- Range of 147kms.
- A charging capacity of 0 to 80% in 60 mins using fast charging.
Mahindra eXUV300
The SUV has already been in news for becoming one of the safest cars by scoring 5-star rating at the Global NCAP. And now the company has launched an electric version of the car.
Although not much is known, the eXUV300 is powered by a powerful motor for sure. It will have a better battery capacity that the eKUV100 in order to have a better range.
Mahindra Funster
The futuristic concept has been revealed by Mahindra at the show. The main highlights are:
- All Wheel Drive System (Each Wheel will have a separate motor)
- The mind-boggling output of 230kW and a top speed of 200kmph
- 0 to 100kmph in just 5 seconds, ZIP! ZAP! ZOOM!
- 520 kms on a single charge of the 59.1kWh battery.
