Scorpio N, a Big Daddy of SUVs,  is a 7-seater SUV available in a price range of Rs. 11.99 – 19.49 Lakh. It is a premium product from Mahindra and is getting a good response from the audience. But Mahindra Scorpio Classic has also good reasons to stay back. It will have a 2.2-liter diesel engine, 140hp engine capacity, and 6-speed manual gearbox. But 4WD or automatic gearbox will not be available here.

Multiple cosmetic tweaks have been made to Mahindra Classic. Its grille and front bumper are the same as that of Scorpio N. The Scorpio Classic is positioned below the newer version. It will cater to the fleet and private segments. Unlike Scorpion N, Mahindra classic will offer two seating layouts. Seven or nine-seat layouts will be available in both variants.

Why does India needs Scorpio Classic

Mahindra Scorpio Classic and Mahindra Scorpio N are two SUVs from the same brand but have different target audiences. We can understand this with the following details.

Scorpio N is a more premium product from the Indian automaker and will rival Tata Safari. While Scorpio Classic is an economy product with an expected starting price of Rs 10 lakhs.

Scorpio N is available with only forward-facing third-row seats. But Scorpio classic has side-facing jump seat options. This allows more accommodation which is a big advantage in tier ii and tier iii cities.
