10 Most Googled Questions On The Mahindra Scorpio N – Answered!

The Mahindra Scorpio N is out, and buyers are super stoked! We have been receiving a lot of questions on this, and so has Google. So today, here are the answers to the most Googled questions about the Mahindra Scorpio N.

  1. When is the Mahindra Scorpio N launching?

Mahindra officially revealed the Scorpio N on 27th June 2022. This was done on the 20th Anniversary of the legendary Scorpio. Prices for the same have also been revealed, and bookings will start soon!

  2. When will test drives start?

Test drives will commence in major cities by 1st July. Test drives will start in the next 15 days for the rest of India.

  3. How much does it cost?

The Scorpio N starts at Rs. 11.99 Lakhs and goes up to Rs. 19.49 Lakhs. These prices are introductory and are reserved only for the first 25,000 bookings. The prices for the automatic variants will be revealed in the future.

  4. Is the Scorpio N better than the XUV700?

Well, both these SUVs are quite different. The XUV700 slants towards the comfortable, family SUV side, while the Scorpio N is more of a rugged off-roader. The Scorpio N has a proper 4×4 system, whereas the XUV700 gets an AWD. The XUV gets more features when compared to the Scorpio, such as ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a digital driver’s display and a bigger touchscreen. No SUV is better than the other here; it depends on what the buyer is looking for.

  5. What will be the waiting period for the Scorpio?

Mahindra has mentioned that the deliveries will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. The earlier you book the car, the faster you get it. The semiconductor chip shortage is still going on, and the delivery periods depend on the availability of these chips. Hopefully, Mahindra has set up a good supply for the demand, and what happened with the Thar and the XUV700 will not be repeated.

  6. Is it safe to buy the newly launched Mahindra Scorpio N?

Well, a freshly baked product might indeed have some problems. However, both the XUV700 and the Thar have had no major complaints since they launched. It can be safe to say that the Scorpio N will also have no complaints since it is similar to these 2 SUVs under the covers.

  7. Does the Scorpio N get ADAS?

No, Mahindra has opted out of the whole ADAS feature for the Scorpio N. It only gets a driver drowsiness detection feature.

  8. Is the OG Scorpio a better choice?

It might be a more value-for-money choice, but it is certainly not the better choice. The Scorpio N sits on a completely new platform; it gets more powerful engine options and a better transmission.

  9. What features does the Mahindra Scorpio N get?

The Scorpio N gets a slew of features. It gets a sunroof, leatherette interior, Adrenox-based infotainment, dual-zone climate control, 4×4, driving modes and traction modes, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, an all-LED setup for the headlights, and much more!

  10. How powerful is the Scorpio N?

The petrol engine on the Scorpio N makes 200HP and 380 nm, whereas the diesel engine comes with two tunes. The lower variants get 135HP and 300nm, while the higher variants get 175HP and 400nm from the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. RWD comes as standard on this SUV, with the option of 4×4.
