5 5 The most awaited launch is just around the corner. Indian carmaker Mahindra is all set to take the covers off of the 5-door version of its iconic off-roading SUV, The Mahindra Thar.
According to leading media reports, it is speculated that Mahindra will reveal the 5-door Mahindra Thar on 26th January 2023. While its launch is speculated to be scheduled for the half of 2023.
- When launched, the 5-door Mahindra Thar will have no current rival. However, it will soon see some competition in the form of the 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the 5-door Force Ksatria.
- These competitors are also scheduled to launch during the same timeline as the Mahindra Thar.
- It is also expected to come with an entirely new name.
- It’s new, longer and more agile wheelbase will help it reduce its ‘Breakover angle’
- Mahindra might as well increase the width of its tyre to maintain its wheelbase and to ensure better stability.
- Comparing lengths, the Mahindra Thar will be 14% longer than its 3-door cousin.
