Maruti is all set to take on its rivals, this festive season as the brand plans upon launching its existing line-up with company fitted CNG options. Much recently CNG test kit fitted mules of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire were spotted testing on Indian roads.
It was also speculated that Maruti is also planning upon introducing a stock CNG variant of the Brezza as well, which now has been confirmed as new information of the CNG variant Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG have surfaced the internet revealing the engine specifications.
Any change in power?
- Well, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG will feature the same 1462cc, 1.5-litre K15 petrol engine.
- On petrol mode, the car will produce 103bhp with a peak torque of 138Nm and while on CNG mode we can expect the car to generate 91bhp with a peak torque of 122Nm.
- Transmission options will include a standard 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed AT.
Any change on the feature end?
- The feature list on the Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG is expected to remain the same.
- However, it might get a few very minor cosmetic changes like new upholstery and soft door handles.
- Apart from these, it will continue to boast features like a 7-inch infotainment system, power windows, multifunctional steering wheel and LED headlamps.
