India’s largest carmaker seems to be in a pit of troubles! You ask why? The brand has announced a recall for over 40,453 units of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco multipurpose van.
The reason cited for the recall is due to a possible issue of a missing standard symbol from the headlamp unit. The recall letter issued by MSIL states that the affected lot could be the ones manufactured between 4th November 2019 and 25th February 2020.
However, the recall notification also states that the BS6 vehicles are very unlikely to get affected by this recall.
The defected part will be changed free of cost by the brand. The notif also states that owners of the suspected vehicles under this recall will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki authorized dealers in due course of time.
