What is the Maruti Suzuki YGF?
This upcoming car will be a compact SUV, placed above the Brezza. Maruti is working on this SUV along with Toyota, so both brands will be launching this car as their own products. These SUVs will be built on an all-new platform, called the DNGA platform; this also underpins a lot of Toyota cars sold overseas. Since the platform is already tried and tested in foreign markets, Maruti should get some of the sugar from Toyota’s reliability as well!

Yes, that’s right! A strong hybrid system is what is going to be a key differentiator for Maruti and Toyota. This Petrol based hybrid engine will be able to run on electric power for some distances, making city commutes tremendously cost-efficient.

Maruti would need to make this SUV extremely feature-loaded since the Koreans have already spoiled us with a plethora of features. Panoramic sunroofs, connected tech, ventilated seats are a few amongst many features that Hyundai and KIA have given us to set themselves apart from the crowd. When will the Maruti Suzuki YGF launch?
The Creta rivalling Maruti Suzuki YGF should enter the Indian markets by end of 2022. Prices are expected to be between Rs.14-18 Lakhs.
