Chinese-owned British carmaker MG is all set to launch its latest product for the Indian market, The MG Comet sometime in the coming months. The MG Comet has been the talk of the town since it was first rumoured to be scheduled for India. Since then there have been a number of revelations about the upcoming Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3 rival.
So, let’s have a look at what makes the MG Comet Seriously Impressive!
- It gets a dual-screen setup combining the infotainment system and the instrument cluster.
- Surprisingly, the MG Comet will also be MG’s first mass-market product in India.
- Its two-spoke steering wheel controls have been inspired by the Apple iPod.
- The 20kWh battery on the upcoming micro-mini EV is expected to be locally sourced.
- The Driving range in the Comet EV is expected to be about 250kms on a single charge.
- It will also be powered by a single, rear-axle-mounted motor.
- We also get to see a vast feature list on the MG Comet which includes- connected car features, electric parking brake, hill-start assist, keyless entry and go, drive modes, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands, among others.
- MG is set to unveil the comet globally on April 19th, 2023.
