- Under the hood, the MG hector plus will support the same BS6 compliant 1.5-litre petrol and turbo-petrol engine along with a 48V mild-hybrid system and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine unit. all three engines will come mated to a 6-speed manual but to our surprise, the petrol models will receive an option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
- Talking about the looks, the all-new Hector has received some minor tweaks both on the outside as well on the inside. On the Outside, the Hector plus receives an all-black front grille without the chrome. Other noticeable changes on the outside include thicker LED DRLs and a slightly high bumper.
- On the inside, this three-row hector features two individual captain seats for the 6-seat variant and a bench seat on the third-row for the 7-seat variant.
- We can expect MG Motor to announce the pricing of the Hector by the second half of 2020. If and when launched the hector will rival the likes of the Tata Gravitas, Mahindra XUV500 and the recently unveiled second-gen Hyundai Creta.Witness the future of mobility: Book your tickets HERE
