Morris Garages or commonly known to us as MG Motors is planning to expand its domestic line up in the coming years. During an exclusive interview with a leading media house President and MD, MG Motor India, Rajeev Chaba has indirectly hinted that the Chinese owned British British carmaker MG is working in full swing in order to introduce a brand new small SUV which will be priced below Rs 10 lakhs and will be placed below the MG ZS Petrol.
When launched this new MG small SUV Will target the Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Hyundai Venue. However, no engine specifications have revelled but we can expect MG to offer its new sub-compact SUV in both a petrol and a diesel variant with no electric powertrain as of now.

After launching the sub-compact SUV MG plans to target the MPV and the premium SUV segment with the MG G10 which will actively rival the likes of the Kia Carnival and the Toyota Innova Crysta. Under its bonnet, the MG G10 will feature a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of generating 223bhp with 345Nm of torque while paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission.

Not only that the rumour also has it that the G10 MPV could also be launched along with the all-new MG sub-compact SUV. Talking about MG’s 2020 line up the brand is also set to launch the MG Hector Plus which is the 3-row version of the already existing Hector SUV along with the MG Gloster which turns out to be more set after premium SUV which will actively rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
