Tata Motors will be announcing a new variant of the Tigor EV range on 23rd November 2022. The new models christened LUX will be available with the XT and XZ+ variants of the Tigor. In addition to this, all Tigor EV variants will now be available with a range of 315 kms. Another big addition is the Multi-Mode Brake Regeneration feature which switches on the brake lights when brake regeneration is active. The official prices of the new 2022 Tigor EV will be revealed tomorrow however, it is expected to start at ₹12.49 lakh for the entry-level XE variant going up to ₹13.75 lakh for the new top-model XZ+ Lux.
The new 315 km range comes as a slight improvement over the 306 kms claims on the current Tata Tigor EV. The Tigor EV will also carry forward some of the features of the Nexon EV Max and the Nexon EV Prime.
Similar to the Nexon Prime & Max, the Tigor EV will come with similar four-level regenerative braking, where Level 0 cuts off regen and Level 3 is the strongest regen.
