5 Production-Ready Cars At Auto Expo 2020 Unveiled

The Auto Expo 2020 has finally come to an end. There were concept cars unveiled and there were production-ready cars showcased by the carmakers. There was a list of cars but there were some which stood out of the rest.

  1. MG Hector Plus

    The MG Hector Plus will come with a BS6 compliant engine. The Hector Plus has received some minor tweaks both on the outside as well on the inside. On the outside, the Hector plus receives an all-black front grille without the chrome. Other noticeable changes on the outside include thicker LED DRLs and a slightly high bumper.

  2. i30 Fastback

    The i30N Fastback might be coming to India soon. The car was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. The fact that Hyundai might be contemplating to launch it’s N sub-brand, makes the launch of Hyundai i30 N fastback more practical. The Hyundai i30 N fastback churns out 250 hp and generates a massive 353 Nm of torque.

    Hyundai might opt for a complete CBU route for the i30 Fastback.

  3. Kia Carnival

    After the Kia Seltos, the Carnival has had a positive response. The car received 1,400 bookings in a day, showing the demand and popularity for the car. Kia Carnival comes at a price of ₹24.95 lakhs onwards. The car might be taking on the Toyota Innova Crysta if and when launched.

  4. Hyundai Nexo

    The Hyundai Nexo was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. What sets the car apart from others is the fact that it might be using potential fuel cell technology. The Hyundai Nexo works on hydrogen fuel cell-based technology. The electric motor in the car churns out a power of 161 bhp and generates a meaty torque of 395 Nm.

    While electric vehicles are making their move in the Indian market, the onset of hydrogen fuel vehicles might be a far fetched dream for now.

  5. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG

    The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG is the first CNG BS6 compliant car from the house of Maruti. While the engine of the car hasn’t received any update, the car is BS6 compliant. After Maruti decided to shelve the Alto K10 there will now be a lot riding on S-Presso’s shoulders to fill the gap.

The Auto Expo 2020 saw a plethora of cars launching. Many of these cars seem to be promising a lot. The carmakers are focusing on electric vehicles and BS6 compliant engines.
