Design
Well, unlike EVERY other car in this segment, the Arkana is a coupe-SUV. It features a sloping roofline, and it features a rather sporty look. It sits on the same platform that houses the Renault Captur. The Arkana is on sale in foreign markets, and it has been spotted testing on Indian roads in the last few weeks.

Engines on the Renault Arkana
Under the hood, the Arkana gets 2 petrol engine options. The smaller, 1.3L turbo-petrol engine gets a mild-hybrid system. It churns out about 138HP. The bigger, 1.6L Petrol engine is assisted by 2 fully functional electric motors. Renault says that these motors can cover up to 80% of city driving requirements, saving a lot of harm to the environment, and also a lot of fuel!

Features
On the inside, the Arkana is a pretty loaded SUV. It gets all the modern tech and gizmos. It features a 9.3-inch portrait-style infotainment system. Safety features like a 360-degree camera, blind spot assist, auto emergency braking and some semi-autonomous features are seen on the Renault Arkana. The SUV also gets a fully digital driver’s display and a BOSE sound system!

India Launch and Pricing
We believe that it could launch in India by the end of 2022. The expected price for the Renault Arkana is around Rs.15-20 Lakhs. Primary competitors for this SUV would be the Hyundai Creta, KIA Seltos, and to some extent, the MG Hector, Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV700.
