The day we all were desperately waiting for, finally, arrived with the launch of the Mahindra Scorpio N. And now that the vehicle has been officially showcased in full glory, the million-dollar question is how much are you in to spend if you’ve gotta bring the Big Daddy of SUVs home? Well, here’s the variant-wise price breakup of the Scorpio N.
The Big Daddy of SUV: Variant Breakup
As was previously reported on our blog, the new Mahindra Scorpio N will be available in 5 major trims – the Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8 Luxury. In terms of the petrol engine, the trims on offer would be the Z2, Z4, Z8 and Z8L trims. These will be offered with a manual transmission as standard, with the option of automatic open from the z4 trim onwards.
Coming to the diesel, the 132 HP, 2.2-litre diesel engines will be offered on the base Z2 and Z4 trims and will offer only a manual transmission along with 2×2 drivetrain. Meanwhile, the punchier 175hp diesel version will be offered onboard the Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8 luxury trims, with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
While the four-wheel drive is offered on all manual variants from Z4 onwards, for the automatic versions, it is only available on the higher-spec Z8 and Z8 luxury trims. The 4×4 Scorpio N will offer with the OEM’s s latest 4XPLOR Intelligent Terrain Management System featuring multiple driving modes – Tarmac, Snow, Mud and Desert.
