Skoda plans to launch the Karoq, the Superb facelift and the Rapid 1.0 TSi on 26th May 2020. Skoda Superb Facelift
The 2020 Skoda Superb was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. This facelift has got a revamped bumper, a new set of LED headlamps and new grille design. This time, we can see more chrome on the front and the rear as well. Inside the canon, you can now see the Skoda virtual cockpit instrument cluster and also, the infotainment system is updated too. Talking about the features, you now get a wireless charging pad as well. Under the hood, the Superb is powered by a 2.0litre turbocharged petrol engine which replaces the earlier 1.8-litre petrol and the 2.0-litre diesel engine. The new only-petrol Skoda Superb has got a 7-speed DCT and generates 190hp. We can expect the price to be around INR 30Lakhs.

Skoda Karoq
Skoda Karoq is a much-awaited car in India. Finally, Skoda has officially announced its launch. Once launched, this car will compete with the Jeep Compass directly. Basically, this one is an updated version of the Yeti crossover that existed in India ling back. Although, it has got many elements that make it much awaited! You get the Skoda Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, an 8-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control and more! Under the hood, you get a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that comes paired to a 7-speed DSG. Skoda will bring this one in India as a CBU therefore, we can expect the price to be somewhere around 24Lakhs for this one!

Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI
The third car that will be launched in this event is the Rapid 1.0 TSI. Rapid has been here for quite long but now the time has come to experience a new engine under the hood. Earlier, the Rapid was available in 1.5-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol. The new one has got a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. A manual version will be launched initially however, we can expect the Rapid to go automatic with a torque converter sometime ahead in 2020. We can expect the price for the manual one to be around 8.7Lakhs – 11.7Lakhs.
